Snapper Rocks 21/3

I have caught some of the best waves I’ve ever surfed at this break but whenever the surf is good I’m generally left with a choice of getting some pics or getting some waves. The surf had been really good and this day was no different breaking from behind the rocks and running all the way through to Greenmount. These are a couple shots I snapped off when Beau and I were down that way last week.

I’d think about removing the surfer in the first pic. He’s too prominent in the composition. I think the focus should be on the wave, but he keeps pulling my eye away. Apart from that it’s sweet. The second photo is awesome – symmetry in the foreground is tops and the colours are niiiice.

I think I am going to just stick with the second shot i want shots that jump out at me and the pano just doesn’t do that for me…
