Currumbin Beach detail 23/6

Whilst out on a commercial shoot a couple weeks ago I snapped off this 13 image stitch of Currumbin rock. Yeah it looks okay its nothing special but it really comes into its own when you zoom in to 100% the detail in this shot is just awesome.

Now I am a big believer in you pay for what you get and my trusty 24-70mm 2.8L lens (Betsy) is a perfect example. Yes it was a bloody expensive purchase for an 18 year old on about $2 an hour haha okay I exaggerated a little but either way it was an expensive purchase but well worth it. What I love most about this lens is how durable and tough it is and Betsy has coped a flogging in the past 8 years and she still puts out images with crazy sharpness and detail gotta love that.

That little yellow dot below the buildings on the top image is the lifeguard tower in the bottom image.
